In today's industrial ceramic production, 99 alumina ceramics are the most common. Because of their superior performance, they are widely used in modern society. So what are the performance advantages of 99 alumina ceramics?
99 alumina ceramic is a ceramic based on alumina (Al2O3) Materials for use in thick film integrated circuits. Alumina ceramics have good conductivity, mechanical strength and high temperature resistance. Alumina is divided into high purity type and ordinary type at the same time, and 99 alumina ceramics belongs to the ordinary type. Ordinary alumina ceramics are divided into 99 alumina ceramics, 95 alumina ceramics, 90 alumina ceramics, 85 porcelain and other varieties according to the Al2O3 content. Sometimes those with an Al2O3 content of 80% or 75% are also classified as ordinary alumina ceramics series. .
1. High temperature resistance
The reason why 99 alumina ceramics can withstand high temperatures starts with its raw materials. As we all know above, 99 alumina ceramics are ceramic materials composed of alumina (AL203) as the main body. Alumina itself is resistant to sudden cooling and heating, and is not easy to explode. Therefore, 99 alumina ceramics have high temperature resistance, and the maximum operating temperature can reach 1750°C!
2. Wear resistance
99 alumina ceramic has the same hardness as corundum. To reach Mohs hardness level nine, the wear resistance must be comparable to that of super-hard alloy. 99 alumina ceramic has a high hardness. Its Rockwell hardness is HRA80-90. Its hardness is only second to diamond, and far exceeds the wear resistance of wear-resistant steel and stainless steel.
3. Insulation
99 alumina ceramic material has excellent insulation, small high-frequency loss but good high-frequency insulation. It also has anti-static function and can be used in dust-free areas.
