Zhang Chuansen, nicknamed Jinxi Fisherman, was born in May 1944, from Feixian County, Shandong Province, and a member of the Communist Party of China. Graduated from the Department of Mass Culture Management of Beijing Correspondence University for the Humanities and has been engaged in cultural propaganda work for more than 30 years with outstanding achievements. He is a leader in contemporary Chinese painting circles who created a colorful technique for painting fish. Currently, he is a national first-class artist, deputy director of the Beijing Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, a cultural consultant of Beijing Youdao Literature Garden, a director of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Exchange Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a director of the Working Committee of the People's Artist Network, deputy editor-in-chief of the "Chinese Calligraphy Dictionary", and a member of the Chinese Population Vice Chairman of the National Ceremony Culture Professional Committee of the Cultural Promotion Association.

Since 1990, he has been invited to hold art exhibitions and cultural exchanges in more than ten countries including Japan, the United States, France and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. , won the title of "One Hundred Chinese Traditional Painting Masters", "The First National Envoy of Cultural Harmony", "Envoy of Sino-Japanese Cultural Exchange" and "Inheriter of National Intangible Culture". In July 2001, he was invited to hold the "2001 Chinese Art Exhibition" at the Washington Artists Gallery. In June 2009 and March 2019, he was twice invited to serve as a judge for the monthly competition of the "Avenue of Stars" column of China Central Radio and Television. In August 2017, he was invited to participate in the "Leaders of the Painting Circle - Global Tour of Chinese Artists - St. Petersburg, Russia" Repin Academy of Fine Arts Exhibition, and was awarded the "China-Russia Cultural and Art Exchange Ambassador". Participate in the "2019 Global Chinese Star" Spring Festival Gala and live broadcast the art of painting fish with ink.
