From October 10th to October 23rd, the "Ceramic Information" "Ceramic Industry Long March" investigation team lasted 14 days to complete a production capacity survey of 21 ceramic construction companies in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai provinces (cities), restoring the recent Overview of the development of the ceramic industry in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai in the past three years. Data show that there are currently 41 ceramic production lines in the three provinces (cities) of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai (21 for ceramic tiles and 20 for ceramic roof tiles), with a daily production capacity of 164,000 square meters of ceramic tiles. There are 5,019 employees in ceramic construction companies, including 4,276 front-line production workers. , there are no planned production lines to be built or under construction.
Compared with 2017, there were 34 ceramic companies in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, 63 production lines, and a daily production capacity of 279,000 square meters. In 2020, the ceramic tile production capacity and production lines in the three places have been significantly reduced. Among them, the number of ceramic companies decreased by 13, the number of production lines decreased by 22, and the daily production capacity of ceramic tiles shrank by 115,000 square meters.
In terms of product categories, compared with 2017, porcelain tiles and antique bricks in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai have shrunk most severely in the past three years. Among them, porcelain tiles have been reduced from 10 production lines in 2017 to 1 today; antique tiles have been reduced from 13 production lines in 2017 to the current 4 production lines; and glazed tiles have been reduced from 6 production lines in 2017. to the current 5 production lines.
There is no increase or decrease in the production lines of exterior wall tiles (including large exterior wall insulation panels); roof tiles (including western tiles and accessories, glazed tiles, ancient building tiles and accessories, and small green tiles) have been reduced from 24 production lines in 2017 to the current There are 20 production lines, but the daily production capacity has increased from 1.345 million pieces to 2.183 million pieces. In addition, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai will add two production lines for large slabs (including porcelain polished slabs and clay slabs) within three years.
Jiang Su ·
There are only 2 ceramic tile production lines left in the province
There are currently 9 ceramic companies in Jiangsu Province, located in Changzhou City, Wuxi City, Suzhou City and Taizhou City. Their products are mainly ceramic roof tiles.
Up to now, Jiangsu Province has built 14 ceramic production lines. Among them, there is 1 clay slab production line with a daily production capacity of 2,000 square meters; 1 exterior wall tile production line with a daily production capacity of 10,000 square meters; 1 antique brick production line with a daily production capacity of 14,000 square meters; roof tiles (Siwa, ancient There are 11 production lines for building tiles, small blue tiles, glazed tiles and accessories). This means that, excluding clay slabs and roof tiles, there are only two ceramic tile production lines left in Jiangsu Province.
It is worth mentioning that in the past three years, Jiangsu Province has added 4 ceramic roof tilesproduction line, the daily production capacity of roof tiles increased by 900,000 pieces, a growth rate of 130.4%. Not only that, with the production of ancient architectural tiles, small blue tiles, glazed tiles and accessories, the categories of roof tiles in Jiangsu Province have become more abundant.
Yixing City
There were 500 tile factories at the peak, but now only 4 are left
Yixing City, known as the "Ceramic City", has rich local clay resources that have driven the development of the ceramics industry. It is understood that Yixing's architectural ceramics industry reached its peak around 2002. At that time, there were nearly 500 large and small Western tile (including glazed tile) manufacturers in Yixing City.
From 2010 to 2012, in order to protect local resources and environmental protection needs, the Yixing Municipal Government completely shut down more than 300 glazed tile production enterprises, fully completed the task of the "Wuxi City Three-Year Action Plan for the Rectification of Glazed Tile Production Enterprises", and laid the foundation for industrial transformation. Development opens up space.
Today, due to local environmental protection and market elimination, Yixing City will only retain "Yixing Taoyuan Jinlong Glazed Tile Co., Ltd., Yixing Mingyue Building Ceramics Co., Ltd., Yixing Jiahui Building Ceramics Co., Ltd., Yixing Wanxiang Construction" by 2017 Ceramics Co., Ltd." There are four ceramic companies, and so far their products are mainly Siwa.
In recent years, as competition among Siwa has intensified, low-price competition has become the main means of competition for many manufacturers. Under this situation, the profits of various manufacturers in Yixing City have continued to decrease, which has greatly affected the healthy and sustainable development of the industry. At the same time, there are a large number of tile (including glazed tile) manufacturers scattered around Yixing City, which further intensifies the price competition among ceramic companies.
Zhejiang ·
12 ceramic companies and 21 lines have withdrawn in three years
There are currently 11 ceramic companies in Zhejiang Province, located in four cities: Huzhou, Wenzhou, Jinhua and Quzhou. Among them, there are 5 in Huzhou City, 4 in Quzhou City, and 1 each in Wenzhou City and Jinhua City.
Up to now, Zhejiang Province has built 25 production lines (16 for ceramic tiles and 9 for ceramic roof tiles), with a daily production capacity of 122,000 square meters of ceramic tiles. Compared with 23 ceramic companies and 46 production lines in 2017, the number of ceramic companies, production lines, and daily ceramic tile production capacity in the province have been significantly reduced. A total of 12 ceramic companies, 21 production lines, and daily ceramic tile production capacity of 91,000 square meters have been reduced.
The reason for the significant reduction in the scale of the building ceramics industry in Zhejiang Province is mainly due to the tightening of environmental protection policies in various places, including "Wenzhou Longwan District Wenzhou Melda Ceramics Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Xinzhonglian Ceramics Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Hong Four ceramic companies, including Feng Feng Ceramics Co., Ltd. and Jinhua Jinhang Ceramics Co., Ltd., were shut down.
In addition, as the only ceramic manufacturer in Hangzhou, 10 production lines of Nobel Group's Linping production base have been withdrawn from production and become the headquarters of Nobel Group. It is understood that Nobel Group currently has two major production bases, namely the Jiujiang production base in Jiangxi Province and the Deqing production base in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province.
Huzhou City
Environmental protection policies are tightened, and only 4 ceramic companies are left in normal production
Huzhou City currently has 5 ceramic companies: "Nobel Group Deqing Production Base, Ruigao (Zhejiang) Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Changxing Haoge Glazed Tile Factory, Changxing Jinguan Ceramics Co., Ltd., and Changxing Yaolongjian Ceramics Co., Ltd." Among them, Changxing Yaolongjian Ceramics Co., Ltd. has stopped production for 2 years.
It is understood that since 2017, due to the tightening of local environmental protection policies, some tile (including glazed tiles, here refers to glazed tiles produced by roller kilns) factories in Changxing County, Huzhou have been shut down one after another. In the past three years, the originally considerable Siwa industry scale in Changxing County has been reduced from nine ceramic companies in 2017 to the current three, with two companies actually in production.
In 2017, there were 9 west tile (including glazed tile) manufacturers in Changxing County including Haode Ceramics, Yaolong Ceramics, Juxin Ceramics, Crown Ceramics, Jianghua Glazed Tile, Superstar Glazed Tile, Zijin Ceramics, Jinguan Ceramics, and Chenxin Building Materials. ) production enterprise. Now, with the closure and withdrawal of six ceramic companies, the scale of Changxing County's building ceramics industry has shrunk significantly.
Wenzhou City
There are 160 lines during peak hours
Now there is only 1 ceramic company and 1 line left
In 2017, there were 4 ceramic companies in Wenzhou City. Among them, there are three ceramic companies in Longwan District: Melda Ceramics Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Xinzhonglian Ceramics Co., Ltd., and Wenzhou Hongfeng Ceramics Co., Ltd., and there is one Wenzhou Yatai Ceramics Co., Ltd. in Cangnan County. In June 2017, three ceramic companies in Longwan District were required by the government to suspend production.
After three years, there is only one ceramic company left in Wenzhou City, Wenzhou Yatai Ceramics Co., Ltd., which mainly produces porcelain tiles. The three ceramic companies in Longwan District have been demolished long ago, and the original production plants have been converted into stainless steel processing areas.
In fact, Wenzhou was once the earliest developing ceramics production area in China. As early as around 2004, the development of Wenzhou's ceramic industry reached its peak. At that time, there were more than 160 ceramic production lines, and the products were sold all over the country. However, due to the early implementation of environmental protection measures in Wenzhou, most local ceramic enterprises were shut down or went to other places to invest and build factories, which led to great changes in Wenzhou's ceramic building industry.
Shanghai
Changgu was demolished, leaving only one ceramics company in the city
Shanghai currently has one ceramic company, Jinxing Ceramics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which has built two antique brick production lines with a daily production capacity of 16,000 square meters. In 2017, Changgu Ceramics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was still producing in Shanghai. It is understood that Changgu Ceramics and Jinxing Ceramics were both established in the early 1990s, and their products are mainly antique bricks.
According to the municipal planning of the local government, Changgu Ceramics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which was originally located at No. 118 Changgu Road, Yongfeng Street, has no trace of its past. The previous production plants and office buildings have long been razed to the ground, and many excavators and transport trucks are working intensively.
According to on-site construction personnel, as early as 2018, Changgu Ceramics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. had shut down and started demolition. In July this year, they entered the construction site according to the municipal plan. They are currently conducting road construction work, with the purpose of connecting the two county roads after construction.
The following is the statistics of ceramic tile (tile) production capacity in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, with a total of 21 ceramic companies and 41 production lines.
