The "He Art Museum" is the first building in southern China designed by Tadao Ando himself. Among them, the "circle" element has become the main shape of the museum, echoing the concept of "harmony" in the architectural form.
The three-dimensional circular body of the four-story museum building spreads from the center to the surroundings like water ripples. At the same time, there are echoing pools around it, just like the museum floating on the water, bringing a surprise at first sight.
The biggest highlight of the entire museum is the double spiral staircase located in the atrium. It is made of fair-faced concrete in the style of Tadao Ando and is cast in one go. The construction process is extremely difficult.It can be called "the only one in the world". Wandering around, natural light shines from the dome, standing on the ground and looking up, giving people a sense of sacredness.
Entering the exhibition hall of He Art Museum, you can see many amazing modern art installations and outstanding contemporary paintings: Ballast's giant Dendroids, Zao Wou-ki's "18.3.67", Damien Hirst's "Kaleidoscope" series "Holy", Zhang Daqian's "Flying Sky Picture", etc., all attract the designer's attention and trigger deep thinking. Perhaps, this is the charm of art.

With harvest and joy, the trip to Fashion·Art|Chinese Design [Xingui Series] Mati Headquarters ended successfully.
